In this theatre-based STEAM class, students will explore big scientific ideas through movement, storytelling, and collaboration. Using drama as a tool for thinking, we will investigate robotics and artificial intelligence, survival in extreme environments, and the surprising intelligence of animals. We will develop our critical thinking and communication skills as we create original scenes that ask meaningful questions, test ideas, and explore consequences. This class challenges students to think deeply while having a ton of fun!

A New Adventure Every Weekend
MITY's program for elementary students enables inquisitive, high achieving 1st - 5th grade students to continue learning outside of the traditional classroom. Courses are intentionally designed to inspire inquiry, activate imaginations, and engage eager learners in hands on discovery that is not possible within a regular classroom setting. While students are in class, parents are invited to listen to professional speakers on topics related to raising bright children, socialize with other parents, or visit a local coffee shop.
