In this hands-on course, students will think and work like an engineer by solving fun, real-world design challenges. We will explore how civil and mechanical engineers design, build, and improve structures and machines as we generate ideas, construct prototypes, and refine our designs. Students will learn about forces, motion, stability, materials, and efficiency as they iterate on their individual and team projects. No experience is needed, just curiosity, creative problem-solving, teamwork, and a willingness to make mistakes.
