From the first bone that forms in the fetus to the final burst of energy that powers a sprint, your body is a masterpiece of motion. In this course, students will explore how muscles, bones, and connective tissues work together to create strength, stability, and movement. You will test your own grip strength and muscle endurance, model how bones handle stress, and experiment with levers to understand how the body multiplies force. Students will join the “Fray’s Anatomy” team to diagnose real-world case studies involving fractures, osteoporosis, and muscle injuries. We will also examine how nutrition, hormones, sleep, and exercise impact the body’s strength, resilience, and recovery. With dissections, hands-on creative projects, and outdoor movement labs, you will get an up-close look at what truly powers the human machine.
