Jex Arzayus

Jex teaches middle school in the Roseville School District and is passionate about out-of-the-box art projects that emphasize hands-on, experiential learning. He encourages students to get messy, explore materials, and experiment with new tools as a way to build creativity and imagination. Jex is also a working artist in the Twin Cities, where he writes and produces original plays. Most recently, he wrote, designed the scenery for, and starred in La Tunda, a reimagining of a Colombian folktale. He also loves improv comedy and brings a playful, collaborative spirit to both his teaching and artistic practice.
