Have you ever seen a lawn mower or a vacuum cleaner that runs by itself? If so, then you have seen two of the many ways that robotics is present in our daily lives. In this class, students will learn basic robotics skills including programming, construction, testing, and design. You will practice your new skills by creating robots that solve specific problems generated during the course. You will use scratch coding and Lego Spike Prime as your tools for solving problems. ($25 class fee)

A MITY Adventure Awaits
MITY’s summer program for elementary students enables curious, high achieving students to continue their learning in a fun environment. Classes are intentionally designed to spark curiosity and expose students to new ways of thinking. Advanced learners also have the opportunity to socialize and play games with peers who share their passion for learning. Students can attend full day or half day, and extended care is available for families who need it.
