Art Beyond Boundaries: Creating With Meaning

This immersive, studio-based class is all about exploring your artistic voice and creating art with real meaning. We will experiment with a variety of mediums, including painting, sketching, collaging, mixed media, and shadow box art, drawing inspiration from artists like Joseph Cornell and John James Audubon. We will also take a field trip to the Minneapolis Institute of Art and Walker Sculpture Garden for even more creative inspiration. Located on the beautiful campus of Macalester College, EYM challenges students academically while developing leadership skills, instilling self-confidence, and fostering lifelong friendships among like-minded peers.
