People are the world’s greatest predator.  Why?  Because everything we do has an effect on our environment.  Riding a bus to school, eating a hamburger, watching tv, throwing away a sock with a hole in it… everything.  In this class, we will explore topics such as energy consumption, farming, fishing, weather, and the water cycle.  You will learn how the practices of some countries, such as Singapore, have low carbon emissions in spite of their large population.  Students will leave the class with new ideas for how they can protect our environment.
