Become a detective and use your investigative skills to find clues and solve puzzles! In this class, work collaboratively with other students to resolve mysteries and find out why things are not always how they appear. Read different tales and short stories, including portions of The Puzzling World of Winston Breen by Eric Berlin, experiencing danger, fantasy, and suspense. Work through these tales on the hunt for answers, analyzing clues in the settings, plots, and characters. Additionally, pen a mystery story of your own to share with others!

A New Adventure Every Weekend
MITY's program for elementary students enables inquisitive, high achieving 1st - 4th grade students to continue learning outside of the traditional classroom. Courses are intentionally designed to inspire inquiry, activate imaginations, and engage eager learners in hands on discovery that is not possible within a regular classroom setting. While students are in class, parents are invited to listen to professional speakers on topics related to raising bright children, socialize with other parents, or visit a local coffee shop.
