Get that “MITY Fine Attitude” right here! Each day after lunch students and staff participate in a variety of activities that bring a lively addition to the MITY experience. MITY students may participate in events designed to promote camaraderie within their class or with other classes. Opportunities to build teamwork, friendships, and leadership skills abound which make this break in the day a very special time for MITY students.

Some activities and events featured in the Special Events and Rec Program are: the “Rec Quest,” class challenges on the Rec Field, charades (aka “shar-oddz”), book reviews, MITY Geo-Bee, the chess tourney, "Bubble Magic", poetry slams, MITY T-shirt logo design contest, beaded bracelet making, Trivial Pursuit Tourney, “Whacky” Track Meet, swimming in the Mac pool, Student All-Stars vs. Staff Urban Bocce Ball Game, Daytime Talent Show, Awards Convocation…and more! Make this part of your day and you too will be able to develop that “MITY Fine Attitude.”
